TROMSØ, 25^th November 2024 – We recently had the pleasure of welcoming members of the Norwegian parliament, including Erna Solberg, the former Norwegian Prime Minister and leader of the conservative party (Høyre), to our Tromsø base in Norway.

Erna was instrumental in securing the Textron Cessna Citation C680A Latitude (LN-EUJ), operated by Avincis on behalf of the Norwegian Air Ambulance Service, Luftambulansetjenesten HF. The Tromsø-stationed ambulance jet not only serves medical aid across Norway, but as a part of the RescEU fleet, can be rapidly mobilised to provide life-saving support across Europe.

The former Prime Minister was accompanied by Member of Parliament Erlend Svardal Bøe, Municipal Representative Markus Akselbo, Director of Tromsø tourism Lone Helle and County Deputy Mayor Benjamin Furuly.

The Members of Parliament toured the facility with the Avincis Norway leadership team, discussing the organisation’s commitment to sustaining and developing critical key skills to provide high-quality careers for the people of Norway.

Throughout the visit, the former Prime Minister met with members of our highly skilled workforce, who support Norwegian health services in life-saving missions every day.
