OUR OPERATIONS
In total, we operate from more than 190 bases across Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Mozambique, and Chile.
We oversee our global operations, from our headquarters in Lisboa, Portugal where we moved in 2023.
We work in full compliance with global and local regulations, operating to rigorous safety standards, and providing operational excellence and efficiency.
Sweden
In Sweden, Avincis provides helicopter emergency medical services. We also provide technical services to our three bases in Finland from Sweden. Our Swedish headquarters are based in Stockholm near Arlanda airport.

Norway
In Norway, Avincis provides air ambulance services operating from eight bases across the country. We have one maintenance centre in Tromsø as well as a simulator suite and training centre in Oslo.

Spain
Avincis is the only operator in Spain to offer the full range of emergency aerial services: helicopter emergency medical services, search and rescue, aerial firefighting and oil and gas. We are the largest and most experienced provider of emergency aerial services in Spain. We have been providing emergency aerial services here for almost 60 years. Our contract with SASEMAR and Xunta de Galicia for Search and Rescue, for example, has been continuous for the last 30 years. We operate in nearly every region of Spain.

Portugal
In Portugal, Avincis provides helicopter emergency medical services, and aerial firefighting operations. Operating from six bases, we provide an end-to-end service for our government customers, including the provision of pilots, and highly experienced aircraft engineers. Avincis moved its global headquarters to Lisboa, Portugal in 2023.

Italy
In Italy, Avincis provides helicopter emergency medical services, search and rescue, aerial firefighting operations with the biggest fleet of Canadair 415s in the world, and different services through drones (UAVs – unmanned aerial vehicles). In addition, we provide innovative monitoring services with drones for the energy sector. We operate from 45 bases across the country and provide an end-to-end service for our government customers and private companies.
